Does anyone know if this is still alive? I've been hanging around in it for nearly two hours and there are no signs of life - unless, of course, I haven't set it up properly, which is entirely possible.

Is anyone here a regular user and can say whether it's still in use?

It depends on what time of day you enter. I noticed it is most active during afternoon/evening UTC; after midnight UTC it gets very quiet.

If you want an IRC channel that's more consistently active, I suggest ##esperanto on the freenode.net network (available via webchat if you don't have a chat client: link).
