Alkanadi:How they were formed is a side issue. Just think about this. Are you more likely to support military action against Boko Haram if you understood their ideas? Or, are you less likely? I imagine that mutual understanding would be more likely to prompt military action because we would know how crazy they are and we would be more afraid of them.I refuse any form of butchering. Nothing is going to convince me of the opposite. But please take note that that does not exclude self-defense.
In my opinion statism (I much prefer the Esperanto word "estrarismo", though) is the fundamental illness of mankind. However, one could argue that in order to believe in statism one has to be ignorant which again is the consequence of fear. And ignorance means lack of knowledge. So the real fundamental illness of mankind is lack of knowledge (and therefore lack of understanding and therefore lack of wisdom and therefore lack of right action and therefore lack of a positive reality in this world).
An army implies a government which I already absolutely oppose. And the Boko Haram warriors belief in the same hierarchical system which a government also constitutes. Hence, both sides are utterly stupid.
Even if it were a side issue how these groups were formed, they still follow the agenda of their creators. Boko Haram and others are so-called "intelligence assets". They are very comfortable tools for their masters.

Alkanadi:I would respectfully disagree with this statement.
Firstly, fear and anger creates wars. When people are scared they will support strong militaristic leadership, even if it means giving up their rights and accepting a lower standard of living.
People seeking power or profit create wars.
They create fear and anger in order to justify the war they have already decided on, or indeed to justify taking away rights of their fellow citizens.
