Well, I have switched to Ek, but it only works in notepad and mozilla so far.
It will not work in Angel writer or Jot a Lot, does anyone have these programs and can tell me why they won't work with Ek?
(They worked fine with Esptype.)

Make sure your target application accepts Unicode characters. I do not recognize the programs you mention, but if they are text editors, you should be able to configure the codepage. For instance, I mostly use UltraEdit, and I have to specify 'Unicode editing', otherwise ĝ will only be visualized as g.
