One of the other member here mentioned Internacia Televido, however that doesn't play/work for some reason. Are there other sites out there that do work and have videos, TV programs and other video things in Esperanto?

It's not video, per se, but Radio Verda (an online podcast-style radio site) is excellent for hearing spoken esperanto. It's hosted by Arono and Karlina out of Vancouver, Canada. Arono sometimes speaks a bit quickly, but both he and Karlina enunciate VERY clearly. New shows come out about once every two weeks, and there's an extensive archive of downloadable shows in mp3 format.

I agree that this is an excellent resource, and I have contributed (jokes) to it a few times. But I haven't succeeded in downloading the mp3 files for offline playing. I'd like to do so. Is there some simple trick to it?

Well, I'm using FireFox. With that, I just right-click on the links entitled "MP3 Version" and click on the "Save As..." context-menu item. Then I just pick a location to save to and let it go (their servers are kind of slow, so even if you are on cable you can expect it to take a while).

I haven't tried downloading it in IE, but I assume it would work in a similar way.

It adds new videos often, and many of them are quite humorous.
Cool I took a look at them and they do have a lot of stuff ridego.gif. Since I'm still a beginner I couldn't understand some of what was being said, but it was cool nonetheless.

I was listening to Radio Verda a while ago then my Podcaster thing stopped getting episodes... :/ But I see they are back updating again... Cool

waxle:ITV has been working fine for me ever since I've found out about it... I use a browser built on Firefox, so I would assume it works there... and I've tried it on IE, and it works perfectly there...

I don't know why you are having trouble with it.
I don't either, but I pulled out the mms:// and it said that the site was not found, soo.. I guess it's 404 for me. Or they block some IPs or some... I don't know.. I don't even know how to ask them for help to get it to work..

This is the English language forum - the forum for discussions in English. That's why everything is in English here. There are other forums for discussion in Esperanto.

I believe you can buy the new Gerda Malaperis film from most Esperanto book services. You could try buying it from the UEA catalog. Go to www.uea.org and click on "Katalogo"
