Esperanto Materials Torrent'ed?

In response to Erinja, the major problem with 'Ni' doing something as opposed to 'Uxi' (ha that cracked me up lango.gif) is that some of us are unable to do these things and instead put the ideas out there for others to take up (if the want). But you do have a point, I myself have been trying to think up something cool I could do with my fledgeling Esperanto skills and am stumped... One thing I think would help is if people like me who have CSS skills and stuff helped others who don't, so those who have the ideas can create nice looking websites like http://www.unilang.org/ or apple.com.

That aside though, because it seems there is little *legal* content being torrented, one of my points is that we should have some form of GNU/free Esperanto file library that operates like Youtube but not the same (e.g. same theory that you can put your own content up, but not just videos). Sorry for not making that clearer, I was in a rush before :S

Farbskatol' isn't really an Esperanto youtube, it resembles more a blog site... I was trying today to see if there is an Esperanto language setting on youtube (there isn't), but maybe that could be a nice goal to work toward.

And Facebook already has it's own Esperanto translation (e.g. Facebook Home = Facebook Cxefpagxo - using it now) and plently of Esperanto groups (with not-so plently members), but this Amikumu sounds interesting...

Back to the original question, I don't think a torrent collection of Esperanto materials will come about until later when someone manages to build up a collection.

I have over fifty books that have been translated to Esperanto on my computer... They are completely legal, they are old classics that don't have a copyright anymore.

If anyone is interested, I will upload the file and give out a link.

Here is the Esperanto Book Collection...

It has The Bible and Brothers Grimm, and tons more... I think Little Women might be in there too, and some Shakespeare. There are 216 books in this file in pdf form. I hope you like it!

Novico Dektri:Yes, I too noticed the lack of an Esperanto interface on Youtube. Moreover, will Google ever acknowledge Zamenhof's birthday by changing thier logo? Mi dubas!
Sprechen of which, can you believe interlingua has their own google interface?! Blimey! It's kind of pointless though considering Interlingua is (despite being supported by heaps of linguists and could be a rival for esperanto real soon) redundant on google when all the major European languages which interlingua uses as source languages are covered by google anyway.

But my gripes about interlingua later.

I don't see Esperanto on facebook... I looked at the languages down at the bottom part of the page and I all I see for the E languages is English and Espanol...
