Polaris: I'm leaning heavily towards "cetero de la mondo"-- it sort of surprises me that this isn't more cut and dried
Maybe cetermondo is what you're looking for. Li mensogis al siaj subtenantoj kaj al cetermondo sounds more elegant IMHO okulumo.gif

Elegance aside, IMHO

mondocetero = cetero de la mondo

and

cetermondo = mondo de la cetero

are not necessarily the same thing ...

Good point... in that case I'd go with cetera mondo.
