Adding -in- to the name doesn't exactly sit right with me.
Names should end in -o, but it is acceptable for names to also end in -a for feminine ones.
So, for example, I go by Rejĉelo, but I could also be Rejĉela.

Prave Fajrkapo. Sed se oni elektas konservi la nomon tia, kia ĝi estas, estas preferinde indiki la elparoladon interkrampe, jene: "Mia nomo estas Yann [jan]".

Se ni daŭre parolos multlingve ĉi-fadene, do bonvolu provizi tradukon Esperantan ankaŭ.Ĉiuokaze, mi konsentas kun la respondintoj rilate al inaj nomoj. Eblas (kaj ofte indas) reskribi la nomon al pli karaktere Esperanta literumo por ke oni povu facile kompreni la elparolon. La sufikso -in- estas plejofte nenecesa aŭ evitinda. Por indiki akuzativecon, sufiĉe facilas aldoni -on post la baza nomo.

The name “Mario” is derived from the Latin name Marius. The name “Maria” is derived from the Aramaic Maryam and Hebrew Miriam. “Mario” as a male's name doesn't change when Esperanticized. “Maria” doesn't need to change, although if it were to be completely Esperanticized, it would be “Mario”.
