How would one translate this sentence?

"I'm going to have that medicine analyzed!"

For context, one character is accusing another character of poisoning someone.

That's a good question: Is there an Esperanto equivalent to the English causative (to have something done)?

Would you use the word "farigo" somehow? "Mi farigos tiun medikamenton analizita"(???)

You could avoid that construction by saying something like "Mi ordonos al iu analizi tiun medikamenton!" ("I'm going to tell someone to analyze that medicine!" ) But it loses something in translation.

the -ig suffix with a transitive verb gives the idea having something done, so "Mi analizigos tiun medikamenton" is enough to convey the idea. Something like "Mi sendos tiun medikamenton por venena analizo" sounds better to me.

Wouldn't a simple causative with -ig- suffice?

Mi analizigos tiun medikamenton.

From a syntactic point of view, it is unclear whether medikamenton is the agent or patient of analizi (which is always the case in Esperanto with causatives of transitive verbs), but from a semantic point of view it should be obvious.

Yes this form is fine and IMO is the best way of phrasing it.

Mi intencas submeti tiun medikamenton al/je analizo.

This seems to me to work like 'mi prezentos la aferon por diskutado'.

ŝi devas submeti sian himenon al la ekzameno de ..

Edit - you could also say:

Mi intencas (far)igi tiun medikamenton analizita
Mi aranĝos ke ĝi estu analizita/ke ĝi submetiĝu al analizo
Mi intencas sendi ĝin por analizo

As is common with translation, you can have more than one option.

Another suggestion:

Mi intencas raporti ka kuraciston/farmaciiston/flegistinon/ktp-iston al la polico!

It depends on whether someone is speaking rhetorically, or really intends to use an analytical chemist.
