Alreet. That is really odd because I lived near Wigan for about 10 years, and I never heard a thee or a thou from anyone. Either it's a class thing, or one of us has gone crazy.

We do it in secret after the right handshake.

What does this actually mean?

Well, I won't go as far as masturbating... because it would be kind of vulgar here... and inappopriate in the context. demando.gif

We're getting a little unrelated to the original purpose of this discussion, so please talk about Esperanto verb conjugation.

The original discussion has been debunked hasn't it?

I would really like everyone to keep talking about Esperanto verb conjugation here. Other stuff is for other places.

I think it has already been said.

There is no good reason for making Esperanto more complicated.

There is also no good reason for changing the rules of Esperanto grammar. If you do make changes, you produce something that is no longer Esperanto, and that defeats the purpose of having a "Universal Language". That is exactly what happened with Ido. It is a new language related to Esperanto, but it is not Esperanto. So it becomes a competitor and over time all the different versions of Esperanto would become different languages in the same way different European languages developed from a single source.

I never said people should use this, I just wanted to share my idea with other Esperantistoj.
